When we were looking for a flat, I had two major requirements: gas stove, and an outside deck where we can use a charcoal BBQ. For the last two years, I had to use a gas BBQ, which i gladly gave to the movers when they came to take our stuff.

Gas BBQ is very convenient, but it is no different from your gas stove! Charcoal BBQ is the way to go. Preparing it is a whole ceremony. And it tastes so much better than any other BBQ.

Last week, I bought a charcoal BBQ - Weber of course. And today, for the first time in more than 2 years, I had my first steak and sausages. Well, what can I say? It's just a different ball game. It's like the Patriots playing against Avignon at American Football.

I just love this smoky taste, the slow cooking, the authenticity of the whole thing.

Yeah, it was delicious, and I'm so glad I can get back into charcoal BBQ.
